To Thy Self Be True

LOVE THYSELF? without reservation!
if so, then I decline.
the mistakes I have made are embedded in my mind.
a mind that is always playing tricks on me...and we don't get along sometimes.
have you ever tried walking away from yourself?
it is like being led by the blind.
Everywhere I go...there I am (well, my mind and me)
and where we end up is where we will most definitely be.
I just can't lose my mind....
believe me I have tried a million times
criss-crossed thoughts trapped in the depths of my mind.
release the thoughts? that is absurd
I hang onto every word.
one must think I am content in this state of confusion;
maybe because I find life to be so amusing.
works for me, I laugh at all of my jokes...
even if they aren't funny
maybe someday i'll bo stand up and make lots of money,
until then, here i am doing the best is can.
living, laughing, and loving in God's hands
