To Those Who Left Too Early
I dedicate this poem to those who left too early:
Andy, Jenny, Simon, Kyle, little old Pearly,
And other people who shot themself with a gun.
I hope that on that side, you're having lots of fun!
Life sure is harsh, and hardly rewarding at all.
That makes some people's wish to go through all of it very small.
They think that if they leave it, nobody will care...
Well, I won't sway around the subject, I'll just go out bare.
You're not as lonely as you may think,
And I doubt that anyone would love to watch your blood go down the sink,
So would you please kindly throw away that knife
And remember all of the people who dedicated to you their life?
You may not care what I say. If that's so,
Think. Would you like to see someone dear to you go?
Probably not. Well, all the words I'm left to say are quite few:
If you decide to end yourself, someone may follow you.
