To Those Who Dont Care

To those it doesn’t concern

Just a short note to the ones
who say they care
I find it funny to this day you
say you was there
All the times I was in need, and
you turned ya head
Like to get my jaw set, ask a
friend you had said
How could I when it was my
jaw that was broken
All the times I kept quiet not
one word had I spoken
All the many times you see but
this is a quick note
So I can’t list even a fraction
funny huh but no joke
I wanted to thank you for leaving
me high and dry
And now you look surprised
do you wonder why
Honestly, well I’m a strong
woman now you see
Because you’ve hardened
my heart for me
That’s why I blocked you
the other day on line
I don’t need that part of
my family by design
Been letting me down since I
was five but it’s okay
Just know I made it this far in life,
I did it my way
Yea but I taught my kids
good family values
It was rough, and not
too many issues
But hey look I gotta run now
I know I didn’t need to
I just needed to say thank you,
and I forgive you

Signed
Your daughter and
Your sister

Not so sure about the last two lines myself...hmmm...ponder. I much prefer the: "I just needed to say -- your going to get yours, mucker...and some too". Stuff all that forgiving business! Perhaps he might just happen, by accident of course, to stumble underneath a passing bus? Or accidentally trip off a platform into the path of an oncoming train? Let us most fervently hope so. Moral of the tale: once abused -- forever shy! Stay safe and snug, Poetess...and steer clear of scum. Big hug :) john

wow, this is one powerful poem that holds a punch in the gut, I can relate to this, so thank you for sharing it with me this morning. Be proud of who you have become, integrity is upmost and foremost in your life, and your children will thank you one day, There is an old saying that says, those that matter will stay by you, those that don`t, well they never mattered , you just didn`t know it. Sending love and prayers of inner peace dear Brenda.

Emotions spoken that needed to be said and strongly done. Life, to a lot of people is me, me. But if you are like me you are always there to share your hand and kind words, but when a storm comes and your left out in the cold all those that you were there for are not no more, all hiding in their own little worm hole. Enjoyed reading. Hugs Eve

Wow! What a powerful poignant potent pen you wield, my dear sissy!! You spill poetic ink without mercy and with all your fiery heart. Deep with scorching emotions, but that last line "and I forgive you" is fire! Such an intimate piece of personal strength, Dragon Fire. You shine in your big sissy's (..I know only by a few minute.. lol!) eyes :)) Love and hugs.. your sane and appreciative twisty sis

My dear crazy sissy, I have missed your insanity so much! I’m so sorry to know of your family issues. Though it is great inspiration for your dramatic fire-breathing poetry! Thank God for your strength and heart and intellect!!

Thank you sissy see you are part of the family that I still love so much!:)
