To Thine Own Self Be True Quote Contest

'TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE'

“To thine own self be true”
Seems such a childish quote
No hidden meaning lies asleep--
No lessons drubbed by rote

Once learned this simple thought
Weighs heavy on the mind
For if you choose to scorn it
Your conscience is struck blind
