To the Road I Have Returned
You cause me so much pain, during your terrible reign
You attacked my brain, you drove me insane
Confessions of your love free, experienced in a carnal spree
Casting my aside like so much debris, how could you do this to me?
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
But it’s the end of your reign, I got you outta my brain
No more of your pain, because you’re not coming back again
Your lock out for loves crime, as I wash away your grime
Out of your hole I climb, because you’re not coming back this time
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
My heart beats not to your cry, and your pleas I can now deny
No longer will I play your fall guy, too our love I wave goodbye
Love lesson I have learned, my heart deeply was burned
No more from my path can I be turned, to the road I have returned
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
I closed my eyes, and slowly wept
For this night, my heart slept
