To the One Above
Why do you tease me?
Make me believe I've found the perfect being.
You bring my hopes up.
Make me think I've found potential love.
Then you take him away,
Leaving me alone and my heart astray.
You let me get all happy.
Then watch me fall into melancholy.
Now I'm empty and sad.
All this does is make me mad.
If you know me so well,
Why do you put my heart through this hell.
Do you enjoy my tears?
Are you happy with my new found fears?
