To the Mountain Man

To the mountain man with the emerald eyes
Did you ever stop to realize
How many have been touched by your kindness
Your gentle words of encouragement to those in distress
Always there to lend a hand or a smile
And take away he pain and dears if only for a while
Never seeking praise for that’s not you
You give from deep in your heart in all you do
Loyalty to your friends is your outstanding and noble quality
Your trust in the Lord will your priority
And so mountain man with the emerald eyes
This is for you from all of us who see you in our eyes
