To the Knees of Ruins

shall we find the day (in quarters),
separate in our birthed lonely ways

together, hearts feel in petals of dismay
words appeal to deeply dark divisions(of prey)

shall we blend our colors with the moon
hold our grief for the sun (in a baby spoon)

together, liquid spills to our wounds
souls tumble to the knees of ruins
