To the Broken Hearted Mothers

Sometimes Motherhood is painful
 
                                 And tears can fall like rain

                                But time will heal the broken

                                And the sun will shine again

                            In this I lift those Mother's hearts

                                And pray the Father's will

                            For He hold's each, listen closely

                            To His precious "Peace, be still"

                           He's near as breath sweet mama   

                            May He hear these words I pray

                             That you, the broken hearted
                          
                           Will be blessed this Mother's Day

But thet raised ungrateful snots for kids. MothersDay is a mix of emotions. As is each holiday.sorry for the Moms. Great poem. Pangie

Tom Bj Legros Kelley May 15, 2023 at 1:20 PM Yes Tom, I imagine that many, even those who have the greatest joy, have some melancholy heartache touching on situations that they, as mama's face. There are a million stories, and it is sad to remember that, there are those on Mother's Day that are undone in grief on a day set aside for such joy and honor. At some point, every mother will probably experience some deep heartache at some point in her life. My heart goes out to them. I'm an older mama, so, yeah, I know the joy as well as the tears we can face. I wish I could hug my sister mama's, but, I pray God will, anyway. Thank you for your visit Tom :) Love, Ole Ma Kelly ;)

Sara Kendrick May 15, 2023 at 2:14 AM Yes, there are those that have wayward children who went astray and have not found the correct way and it seems that they never will. There are those whose child got killed in a car wreck or gun violence or who died from severe illness. I am sure Mother's Day was very hard for them. Your lines seem to be straight from the heart and I could feel the emotion within. Thanks for sharing this one and for dropping by my page. Bj Legros Kelley May 15, 2023 at 12:56 PM Sigh, yes, motherhood is often fraught with joy, but heartbreak is, sadly, often a byproduct of life on this earth in relation to a mother's heart. I believe Jesus sweet mama totally understands those tears for a mama's broken heart. The wonderous joy, and the devastating tears. Can you imagine, the grave of a precious beloved child, or the memory of a miscarriage, or the seeming death of a promised life course of a beloved child, whose life has been destroyed by all apparent appearances...so many stories, so many hearts gripped in sorrow, but, there is hope in God, the Savior, the righteous judge. He is a loving Father. I lift these broken hearts to Him.
