To See the True Man

If you want to know who a man is
It's not in his life but how he lives
You can't see it through fortune or fame
It's not whether everyone knows his name

It's not in his money, fancy clothes or cars
Or if he rubs elbows with mega stars
A big income and large house are just status symbols
Through them the true man you won't witness

It's not his physical strength and how much he can lift
The true man that will never depict
It's not if he wins or loses a fight
You won't see it in toughness or might

A man is defined by what's in his heart
The kindness and care he does impart
How he treats the people he is around
That is where the true man will be found

If you want to know who a man is inside
To see the soul that in him resides
You have to look at what's reflected in his heart
To see the true man that's where you should to start

                   Proverbs 27:19
As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects a man
