To Say Thank You
Here's for my idol
without whom there'd be no true musical
without whom I'd be suicidal.
She saved me from myself-
though I'm still far from her vast wealth-
I strive to praise her, wish her good health.
She is the one I worship, my queen
the one on whom forever I'll lean.
Onika
to you I say, ah
thank you, my Lady
thank you for me.
Thanks for the chance to bow
to the rightful queen.
Thanks for the opportunity
to be seen
by You, by You, by You...
Onika
Gracious one who inspires
each song lites my inner fire
makes me wanna rise, spire
and down all the hates, liars
who claim you're too far to reach.
But they know not what they speak
for You have provided the peach,
given me the voice to speak
so for You I'll stand preach.
Cause Yours are the words
that ears have heart
and yet every ear
still needs to hear
so listen as I present my speech...
Onika, my queen
You have given me
the voice to isng
Your words that ring.
Onika, thank you
for showing us You
for showing us the way
in every word You say.
Thank you on being here
Thank you for our ears to hear.
Thank your for our eyes to see,
Onika, your radiant beauty.
Thank you on your true being
Thank you for our lips to sing.
Thank you for our tongues to taste,
Onika, music that is so great.
