To Robin
Knew a man so full of pain
To him, life was such a stain
This sadness he so bravely fought
Form him lessons could be taught
The laughter he brought
Instead of the pain he did feel
With the laughter he helped others to heal
He showed the world the funny side
But his pain he tried to hide
Others laughter helped the lonely tide
So funny that no one heard your cry
I still wonder why
You hid it so well
Others couldn't tell
Lost amongst the laughter The tears we failed to see
The pain that in which you truly be
We failed you
I know this to be true
What would of helped I wish I knew
A life spent making others smile
Drowning in your own pain all the while
Robin you was one of a kind
Brought us peace of mind
If only for awhile
You made each of us smile
Thank you
For all you did do
