To Orange

To Orange,
I've been dreaming, dreaming lately.
How things seemed so sure back then.
How love wasn't a flashback of the days.
How your kindness was taken for granted.
I do recall, I really do.
The sea breeze against my hair.
The sunset painting the sky.
The sand, cuddling with my feet.
I wish you were here today.
Back from when I lost sight of you.
Don't take me on a long drive,
Come home and lay beside me.
Don't take me out for a candlelight dinner,
Make me my favourite peanut butter sandwich.
Don't talk to me everyday, every hour,
Dream of me, whenever you close your eyes.
I'll be waiting, but not for long.
For reminiscing, is now a hobby,
And probably wishing, is now, a curse.
