To Myself With Love

To myself with love,
Sent on the wings of a dove.
Your eyes sparkle and shine.
If something is out of place, I see not one line.
Your smile, how it glows.
Your hair when the wind blows,
Fills the air with a scent,
It must be heaven sent.
Soft is your skin,
Encompassed with the love from within.
Your heart is so kind,
One sweeter you may not find.
So to you myself,
I give myself, all of myself.
All of my faith, and unconditional love.
I promise never to rise above,
What is real, what is right now.
What is right now?
God, my dear sweet friend,
Always an ear to lend.
When life gets rough,
And talking to myself is not enough.
For this, I would like to thank The Lord above.
Signed, Myself, with love.

Thank you very much skat! So nice to be here and meet new people! I enjoy writing all the time, though sometimes I get lost when looking for places like poetry soup that will allow me to post my work.
