To My Younger Self

"Just keep doing what you’re doing, and you’ll be fine."
There is no luck in waiting, not until your stars align.
The world’s egotism will be your strong nemesis.
So stay strong and motivated amidst all these crises.

You’ll be searching for happiness in the corners of the room.
Yet, life will be much more complex—and mostly doomed.
A friend in need is a friend indeed.
But real friends don’t discard efforts, so take heed!

Your shoes will wander around to beautiful places.
Falling in love with the wrong people will happen for ages.
Heartbreaks will be part of your journey; brace yourself!
But the only person standing in your way is yourself.

You’ll yearn countless times in the middle of the night.
Success will be obscure for a sophisticated man to write.
Society will disdain your credibility as a person.
But it will all happen for one particular reason.

So stay strong and motivated amidst all these crises.
The world’s egotism will be your strong nemesis.
There is no luck in waiting, not until your stars align.
"Just keep doing what you are doing, and you will be fine."
