To My Sister Lynn
I've never before had the priveledge of being so near
A special person like you whom I hold so dear
You are my friend and for this I'm thankful
You've never judged me and for that I'm grateful
You've helped me up when I was down
And I can always count on you to be around
You're always there to lend an ear
And all my thoughts you're willing to hear
We've walked through the bad times till we found some good
Then spiritually hand in hand there we stood
We draw upon strength from each other
Like a babe does from it's mother
It strikes us both in awesome wonder
How as time goes by we're even closer
You've touched me way down deep inside
Beyond the facade and foolish pride
And I gladly say to all the rest
To this soul you are one of the very best

Note: This is inspired by my best friend in the whole world. I will always cherish the
times we were so close. Although many miles apart now we still stay in touch after 25 years.
