To My Sister

There you stand in white surrounded by your friends.
When you go from here, no guidance will they lend.
He is yours, as you are his.  
You two shall be as one.
As you go, remember this; take each day as it comes.
As today becomes tomorrow, there will be some strife.
But you'll have joy instead of sorrow,
When God controls your life.
