To My Precious Angel
I don’t know why God took you away
Even though I begged him to let you stay
I think of you all the time
My precious angel that was once mine
I know heaven needed you more
But how do I pick myself up off the floor
Sometimes this pain is to much to bear
But I don’t feel like I should share
I know I’ll see you once again
When I reach the pearly gates of heaven
But right now, all I have are my dreams
And that’s a lot more than it seems
In my dreams you are alright
So that’s why every night
I pray to see you when my eyes close
I love you so much and I hope that it shows
I may have never really got to see you
But always remember Mommy loves you
You may have only been with me a short time
But your memory and love will last a life time
