To My Parents

If you think I'm distant
if you think I'm bad
if you think I'm cold
if you think I'm sad
if you think I don't care
if you think I'm mad
darling you're not that wrong
darling, you're the cause of that.

If you think I'm lost
if you want me away
if you hate my voice
if you hate my face
if you think ill of me
and you hate what I say
darling we are now even
cuz darling, what I think about you... is the same.
