To My Mother

Ain't no woman like you mama know that This is the emotion of a son to her mother Am writing this down as a prophecy Hope to fulfill this when the time will come Dear Lord, protect this strong woman I only have gratitude for your unconditional love Wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for you Your strength is seen for how you have raised us Trust me, I'll take a bullet for ma mama Can't know why most hate their mothers Would want to educate you, hope I will do so As the first born from your womb, I adore you Time passes so do days, I know your aging And ur time is coming, but not now, not now Ur smiles and happy moments are in my mind They would always have a place within me A museum is set within my mind I'll only share what you have thought me The beatings you gave me has shaped my life Hoping for the best, I know that your praying for me What more can a son/daughter desire? Its all in-front of you, don't turn a blind eye She has taken a lot for my sake and fate They told me its written in the stars No, God drew them that's why you read the stars My mama wasn't my choice, she was God's decision Hope to understand this mystery, give me understanding As time would pass , I won't want to see you shed a tear I'll dry ur eyes and make you laugh This is a poem to my mother and u'll read it I have never been lonely, she has always kept me company Thank you mama, Thank you mama, Thank you mama I'll always love you mama,Dear Lord protect her
