To My Hunter

While we have been apart I want you to know,
My heart goes wherever you may go,

You have your orders from a different land,
Sent 18 hours away it’s part of the plan,

When your away I pray everyday,
Until you come home and I know your okay,

Sleepless nights don’t treat me right,
I wish you were here holding me tight,

Eight months till you walk back through that door,
Then to leave and open that sore,

I knew what I was agreeing to,
But I am afraid of losing you,

I just wish you knew,
I’ve never loved someone like I do you.
