To My First Love

To my first love
I look back to those times
With wonder and delight
The delicate and gentle exploration
Of our bodies and minds
That reached new heights

Where can we begin?
For ten thousand miles of sea
Are in between
All that I know
Is what lies in my heart
Is not a sin

I want to see you again
Hold you, so very tight
Take away the pain
Never let you go

To my only love
I carry in my heart
Everyday
A picture of you
It has always been there
Where it always lay

One day...
It can be
That you and I
Are together
Both, free
