What You Said To Me Really Hurt Me,
Reality Set In & It Was Hard To Believe,
I Choked Up & Just Wanted To Leave,
My Eyes Hurt From Crying & It Was Hard To Breathe,
I Stayed To Talk & To See What Went Wrong,
She Had Nothing To Say,
I Sit There & Pray,
I Wondered Why This Had To Happen To Me & Why This Way,
She Said She Was Confused & Had Alot On Her Plate,
I Didnt Know What To Say At This Point,
My Heart Was Crushed,
I Felt Worthless,
I Felt This Was My Fault,
I Was Guilt Free With Nothing On My Chest,
Sometimes I Think The Break Up Was For The Best,
With How Bad It Hurt Me It Was Hard To Rest,
I Still Remember Saying I Would Be Right Here Waiting,
I Wasnt Lying,
I Said I Will Always Care For You,
I Broke Down & Said "You Know, I Wasnt Lying When I Said I Liked You"
The Days Go By & I Try To Forget,
But I Will Never Regret Being With You,
I Will Always Remember,
I Will Never Forget What We Had,
Even Though Are Relationship Turned Bad,
The Thought Of Losing You Made Me Wanna Take My Life,
But I Knew I Couldnt Do That,
Theres No Way In Hell That Would Be Right,
I Know You Try To See But Still Dont Understand,
What I Felt We Had Glowed Like California Sand,
It Felt Rite,
But Now Your Gone & Away,
& Even Though I Wanted & Still Want You To Stay,
I've Learned That Life Throws Curveball's & Maybe Something Will Come Back My Way.
