To My Dearest Friend

You've been there for me
Through thick and thin
You're like my father
Just subtract the abuse
I wonder what you see in me
To be so kind to the unkind
I may have hurt myself
But it is only because I hurt
I love you my dearest friend
And I hope you do too
For you are like a father
I never knew

Dedicated to John. . .

Thankfully God sometimes blesses us with people who take the place of the ones that should be our biggest champions and protectors. Good job Alexz, love Laurie
