To My Confidante This Christmas

I might not take you through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
But I must surely let you know
How I feel for you this Christmas day

There might be no mistletoe
Under which by me you should lay
But I must confess; from your head to your toe
You are beautiful all the way

If there is anything I need to do
Anything at all you think I must
Just mention, anything for you
And I'll do it by Christmas

My Confidante, I need nothing from you
Yes nothing for this Christmas
But your lips on mine too
Well, that to me is a merry Christmas.
