To My Child
Have a mind of your own.
Wear a smile, be cheerful.
Try not to live in other's shadow like a clown.
Aim for the best, be hopeful.
Count your blessings, don't squander.
Save for the rain and storm.
Always watch your steps and remember
to at least sometimes be at home.
Love the Lord, do his ways.
Do not be a false witness.
Cherish all your times and days.
Try to mind your own business.
