Thank you God for all that I have and all that I am. May I always do my best to make a difference in Your name.

The weight of a thousand lifetimes
Lives inside my soul
My heart connects with the greatness
Of the Love and Light it holds
I don't know the answers
I'm discovering wisdom as I go
My old soul knows so much
And it reminds me how to flow
Every single moment
Of every single day we're given
I understand the choice
Must be to the Light in living
So much that is given
So much that is taken away
Who are we to question
If night will become day?
Time may be a construct
But it dissolves like sugar in the rain
If we don't make the most of it
We won't learn to heal regret and pain
You and I are partners
We live and love and grow
Every soul connected
Throughout this world we know
I stand here ever before You
The Source of all I am
I thank you for each moment
And do the best I can
I don't need to be here forever
I know my soul exists as an eternal flame
But I do ask for guidance and hope
To make a difference in Your name
