To Loose a Son, To Loose a Brother

Have you ever heard the sound, As your mother hits the ground, When she hears the words, he isn't coming home. Her face, a look of grief, It's combined with disbelief, As the words soak in, he won't be coming home. Her blue eyes turn to grey, On her knees she starts to pray, Refusing that he's isn't coming home. As reality creeps in, There,s that scream from deep within, When she realises he's not coming home. I will always feel her pain, when I here her say his name, We've accepted that he's never coming home.

It must be an unspeakable tragedy to have to endure ... excellent writing here but I need to point out some spelling ... the title should be Lose as when its two "o's" it means not tight and I know you mean as in lost ... smile ... and in the last stanza you have in the 2nd line when I here and you mean it to read "hear" ... Now its perfect ... smile ... and I hope you don't mind my schoolteacher ways ... LOL

I can not imagine the agony of her pain or the families...God can feel the pain he felt the separation from his son that day be it was only a brief separation but he still knows the pain...Great emotive and caring write..Sara
