To Loose a Son, To Loose a Brother
Have you ever heard the sound,
As your mother hits the ground,
When she hears the words, he isn't coming home.
Her face, a look of grief,
It's combined with disbelief,
As the words soak in, he won't be coming home.
Her blue eyes turn to grey,
On her knees she starts to pray,
Refusing that he's isn't coming home.
As reality creeps in,
There,s that scream from deep within,
When she realises he's not coming home.
I will always feel her pain,
when I here her say his name,
We've accepted that he's never coming home.
