To Live

It is the beginning of a brand new day...
And because of God's goodness I have things to say.

Thank you Father for a good night's rest...
Thank you for helping me pass yesterday's test.

Thank you for today and the gift of life...
And thank you for the companionship of my dear wife.

Thank you for the rain and the beautiful flowers it brings...
And thank you for the opportunities to use our brains.

It's fun to be a part of making history today...
And thank you God for guiding my way.

Thank you Father for the gifts you give...
And thank you Father for the excitement to live.
