To Live
Where do I truly want to Live?
I want a place that has what it can give?
A place that is warm with a fire in the hearth.
I want to Live in my heart.
I have traveled across our beloved Mother Earth.
I saw the beauty as my wife gave birth.
As all of life here has given me a wonderful start.
I want to Live in My Heart.
My Father has gifted my life to me.
The painful living of others is what I See.
I hold onto my chest and cry in the dark.
I still want to Live in my Heart.
As the Morning breaks into a beautiful day.
Gentle winds touch the flowers, and they sway.
The moon begins to shine and brings forth the stars
I Still want to live in my Heart.
A gazing loving child with puppy dog eyes
Gives me wonder as I toss her into the sky.
She lands on my bosom as we will never part.
I will always and forever have her in my heart.
I look into the heavens with grateful tears.
My life well lived through these magical years.
My Soul flies with soaring love into heaven I embark.
I have lived truly from my heart.
