To Hurt :: Heroic Stanza
It's like swimming against current to go
stopping natural flow of emotions;
Unrequited love hurts so much, we know
difficult to unlove; fully broken.
The pain of rejection pinches heart, grow
over days, can't forget, no more hoping.
Study says, it hurts her too, she mayn't show,
bears pain; couldn't act on feeling unspoken.
None enjoys failure to return love, so
she feels awful, for not being open
to give back what you hoped, pain does outgrow;
Maybe didn't wish to hurt your emotion.
