To Hold On To Your Love

In darkness you unfold to me
And all your sweetness hold to me

Then I forget that I'm unsure
It seems you are the magic cure

But in the cruel morning light
My dreams have vanished with the night

Reality comes crashing in
This hold on love I cannot win

You were there when I ran out of places
But I was holding fleeting traces

Of someone who could never show
Your love for me I've come to know

Too late to say how much I feel
These self-inflicted wounds will heal

But longing always will be there
Believe me I will always care
