To Harness His Maiden's Love

His Lordship built an Ivory fence
to harness all his maiden's love
for his earnest desire to wear her
was as an elegant fitting glove
yet, no part of it did she yearn,
so she stepped upon a rock
and caused him sudden shock
she looked at him; he looked her
she closed her fist then gave him a sock
then she leaned and gave him a shove
for twas not with he,did she cherish the love!

This piece flows with such charm and grace. I also like the spark given to the piece from the rhyming pattern. It seems to me like the back and forth could either be serious or humor. Great job! ~Joseph
