To Glow
Years- content, scheduled, unsure
Years- fun, empty, wasted
Not few, not a couple,
Not too many, just enough
To feel soulless, goalless, unexcited
Young enough to choose direction,
Too old to define life based on talent
Young enough to find a yearn for something, anything,
Old enough, yearning for many things
The urge to dance, sing, write,
New, diverse, unlike the usual
Not defined by anything besides what could one day be
Defined not by resentment,
But the fact, that even though happiness should come from finding greatness
Happiness has come from the journey of not finding it;
Greatness has not been found, in fact
Greatness is yearned for,
Causing unsureness and adventurousness
Adding to the journey,
In turn, creating a sense happiness,
Almost better than the true form
Not only one soul, but a soul and the glow
The glow ignites form a form completely separate
For with this form, plans have somewhere to begin
To branch goals for life from one, true, sure, existence.
