To Die
To hope for the unattainable.
To dream when hope is gone.
To strive for dreams remaining.
To die when strive’s too long.
To wish for things unseen.
To believe that wishes come true.
To pray when beliefs are tarnished.
To die when praying is through.
To live for days gone by.
To struggle when living gets rough.
To get going when it’s not worth the struggle.
To die when the going gets tough.
