To Dear Friend

Through autumnal shades and shadows,
Streaked with wintry showers;
Through celestial sounds and sights,
Blended with spring delights;
Tranquil mornings, calm evenings,
My mind saw it eternally lingering,
Dear friend thus was thy image beaming.
