To Cyber Newbies

Welcome, Newbies, to our 
Poetry Soup family,
and you will quickly see
that a warm and friendly 
greeting will be yours,
as first it was to me

Each time you read a poem,
or meet somebody new,
when you leave a comment for them,
they'll do the same for you.
And keep your comments kind.
Nothing hurtful here will do.

You'll find all kinds of poems posted
On love, inspiration, and war,
pets and family, romance, 
dreams, God and more.

There are contests to enter,
so we hope you'll enter some.
And after the judging is over,
you might have a winning one!

You'll find our staff friendly 
and helpful. Always updating, 
expanding and adding the new.
Contact them with your questions
because they are always there for you.

I would like to think, "Pass it on"
is Poetry Soups motto here.
So when you meet a newbie,
why not share what you have learned?
And their appreciation will be something
you have earned.
