Notes About The Poem

Contest-Autumn's Breath-sponsor- Regina Mcintosh 8/17/26

To Breathe in Autumn

To breathe in Autumn's seasonal jewel
where its richness and beauty are wistful

as slumbering Autumn awakens, Summer cleaves
till' Summer at last turns its green leaves

allowing Autumn to reveal its grandeur
in a majestic and glorious splendor

in colors of orange, yellow and red
on every limb their colors spread

until they brown, and lose their crown
to leave bare limbs, when the fall to the ground

the beauty of Autumn ends in sadness
yet, memory of Autumn becomes a gladness

Sometimes I wonder why must every season end? Just like every relationship, and beginning. Your words are beautiful as always dear Frederic, I especially loved "the beauty of Autumn ends in sadness yet, memory of Autumn becomes a gladness" some memories are beautiful... Pleasure reading ~ Sending you light always 🍁 💫
