To Break My Promise

To break my promise
wouldn't be that easy...
to tell you that I want
those true, untouched lips
more than anything else
is always a consolation
to know that I am holding
onto something of yours
that will never go!

I'd rather give up
on those sexy women
that surround me 'till down;
oh, how much I would cry
of it turn out to be
one of my usual lies:
I'm sure you'll never forgive me...
to the point of falling tears!

To break my promise
doesn't take jealousy,
hold onto every faith
you have: decide for yourself
that believing in me
is no mistake!
To break my promise
is to destroy our many dreams
in a timeless place...
where we created them from words!
