To Be With You One Day
How would I know you’d be Taken from me?
In this world of all we had why were you taken so suddenly?
Hopes, dreams and memories
All vanished from sight,
There was no explanation one could give that made it seem right.
Today I’m sorry is just a Phrase
Yet I need to be strong for the rest of my days.
I’ll smile and remember what used to be,
And know someday you’ll be back with me
We’ll walk upon the mountains that touch the sky
And know that for eternity it will forever be just you and I
