To Be Me

No one really knows me,
With all the stuff I hide.
I hide my pain constantly,
So I don’t lose my pride.

Only thing they see are lies.
They’ll never know what’s inside.
They’ve never heard all my cries,
Even with how hard they’ve tried.

Do they even try?
Are they really that blind?
Let’s see them cry.
A happy ending they won’t find.

They try to wear my shoes,
But they will quickly go down.
Shortly they will lose,
Soon they will drown.
