To Be Kind

It’s not all that difficult to be kind.
If someone is struggling, give them a hand.
Does someone annoy you? Then press rewind.
Put yourself in the shoes in which THEY stand.

See things from others’ perspective and know
it’s not all that difficult to be kind.
Smile at the grumpy ones. Give it a go!
Folks’ trials are not hard to be divined.

We all have trials which we’ve been assigned.
Patience and compassion we learn this way.
It’s not all that difficult to be kind.
Judge not your neighbors. For guidance pray!

Someone feels sick? Ask them what you can do.
Someone looks lost or lonely? Don’t act blind.
Find one to help them if it can’t be you.
It’s not all that difficult to be kind.
