To Be Enough Is Not Enough

To be enough
Is not enough,
That’s what my brother said.
It was the day I’d shot a basket
The ball bounced back
And hit me on the head.
To be enough
Is not enough
Is what my sister told me.
The day that I sang a song at school
About every possibility.
To be enough
Is not enough.
Yes, I know this now.
I decided to be more than enough
So now I take a bow.
