To Be a Child Again
To be a child again eager to explore
What would you become if the choice
Were yours to chose?
Would your mind still run free?
When maturity knock at your door?
Or would you welcome the knowledge
Knowing it would bring?
Hoping you were mistaken
For you think so many years still laid ahead
Or would you open the door to greet
Whatever this life was about to lay at your feet?
