To a Person We Love
We thought we saw you last night
When we looked up at the sky.
We saw you standing there
With someone by your side.
We saw you were happy
But we did not know why?
You told us to be happy
Because the lord is by your side.
You said, “You miss your family”
We could tell by the tears in your eyes.
You said I have to go
But we could not understand why.
That day we let you go
But you will always be on our mind.
