To a Mother

a mothers gentle touch
calms hurt and fear
a mothers loving hands
wipes away the tears
a mother is always there
to lend a helping hand
she is a source of strengh
to help us better stand
when all else has failed
and no one seems to care
you can depend on mother
for she will always be there

a nice warm poem, sadly that's not true to all, my mum left home when I was 11 and it wrecked our lives. but I have God he is my everything, he's all I need, we can trust him even when our earthly parents abandon us. God bless you.

This was a very beautiful poem. The words flowed gently and the message was very heart warming. Well written.
