To a friend that died How she cried… Lamenting on her bed She never wished this end. It came as a rude shock At a time on a strange clock Like a dragon-head termite Sapping all her might. To God Such her heart she never lend Sought a chance to even every odd Pleaded her many a angel to send. And she breathed her last Her decayed wore a veil cast Such way leads beyond Watch! Death can come at any second. Worthy of a praise or a blame Gone her to claim...
