To a Friend Called Sakina
Sakina is a jumble and she always likes to grumble
To many she is weird, but I think she is just a nerd
She is soft and gentle and meek and mild
But sometimes she may just try to go wild
Sometimes she’s up, sometimes she’s down
Sometimes she twists, sometimes she turns
Sometimes she sleeps, sometimes she don’t
Sometimes she eats, sometimes she don’t
She keeps her company with self-help books
And is quite happy with her quiet little nook.
To me she is a bundle of joy,
To many she may just appear coy.
Her dreams are like water
Always changing path,
Ready to let go when the pain is hard.
Her white fluffy cat, the love of her life
And the only thing that gives her a drive
No matter what the world will say about you
Dear Sakina you are loved and one day you
will say to the world
SCREW YOU.
