To a Fault

I will love you to a
fault
As if you and I are
in a cult
I will take that
revolver and pump
bullets into my
temple
So that my death
will be upon your
conscience
I will go mad with
rage
As my love remain
steady with age
I will tell you a lot
of sweet nonsense
So that you will
think
And someday have
sense
No matter how far
you are
I will find you
No matter how long
that bridge is
I am behind you
I will love you so
long as humanity
Remains on this
earth
In poverty, riches
and in good health
You are phenomenal
Like a hurricane
So beautiful filled
with energy and
destruction
You are awesome
I desire your love
You are perfection
The very perfection
of God
Your flaw
I will accept
As long as my
secrets are kept
Forever and ever
