To a Beloved Husband Recently Passed

It is eight months since you went away,
my husband whom I loved in a special way.
At times I was quick,
you were the same--
but we knew in our hearts
we had nothing to gain.
So when we said our prayers at night,
we asked the Lord to direct us right.
In the morning we saw the light,
we thanked God for another day
and asked Him to show us the way
and never, never stray...

I MISS YOU, OH SO MUCH!

- A touching writing, Ida - We all deserve to experience true love, which makes us happy :) - Love sometimes hurts, but it never causes harm intentionally :) - In other words, to love someone good you must love yourself and be prepared for everything :) - Congratulations on your winning poem ... we all hunt for love :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
